Elegancia — a fine-dining brand, finally online.

A hill-station restaurant losing weekday covers to a slow, dated WordPress template. We rebuilt the site from scratch — premium custom design, sub-1-second mobile load, direct reservation flow — and shipped it in twelve days.

01 — The brief

A dated site that punished mobile visitors.

Elegancia's old site was a generic restaurant template — 6.2-second mobile load, a phone-number-only booking process, and a hero that looked nothing like the room itself. Seventy-eight percent of their traffic was mobile, but the site had clearly been built desktop-first.

02 — What we did

A premium, scroll-driven page, built around one outcome — book a table.

We rebuilt the site from scratch in Next.js, designed in Figma over four days and engineered over five. Editorial typography, in-house photography, cinematic motion, and a real-time reservation engine wired directly to the host stand. Every section optimised for the moment a guest decides to commit — a clear, single CTA, never more than one tap away.

03 — The outcome

+318% conversion. 0.9s mobile load. Live in 12 days.

The new site shipped on day twelve. Mobile reservations rose from 12% to 64% of total bookings in the first eight weeks. Average time-to-book dropped from four minutes to forty-seven seconds. Cancellation rate halved thanks to deposit confirmation.
